Dr. Kaplan-Massas, graduated from the Hotel Dieu de Paris Faculty of Ophthalmology.
She is one of the first physicians in Israel to perform laser cataract surgeries, minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS), Premium IOL’S, and cutting-edge therapies for dry eye treatment.
Over the past 20 years, she has performed thousands of advanced cataract and glaucoma surgeries in the country, adding to her vast experience gained at respected institutions in Paris and New York.
Dr. Kaplan-Masas participates in research and teaches ophthalmologists innovative surgical techniques for cataracts and glaucoma in Israel and around the world, and also takes part in humanitarian missions to developing countries.
Dr. Kaplan-Masas, who moved to Israel from France in 1996, worked as a glaucoma specialist at "Sheba" Hospital in Tel Hashomer and participated in the development processes of groundbreaking technologies in glaucoma treatment.
Until 2016, she was the head of the glaucoma unit at “Asaf Harofe” medical center.
Since 2015, Dr Kaplan-Massas has been managing the “EyeMc” Cataract and Glaucoma Center.
I first met Dr. Kaplan about ten years ago. In December 2019, I had surgery on my left eye, and in January, I had surgery on my right eye. In her hands, I felt like I was with an angel—she did an amazing job. I highly recommend her—anyone who can, should go to her.
